I wanted to visit the Stellenbosch Museum and Hazelwood House's central location allowed me to easily explore it. The free Wi-Fi and on-site parking at Hazelwood House pleasantly surprised me. I enjoyed the convenience of having free Wi-Fi, and the on-site parking made it easy for me to explore the surrounding attractions.

Slight hiccup with arrival.

The decoration at Hazelwood House was absolutely charming! It had a lovely vintage feel that made me feel right at home. The general areas, such as the gardens and pool, were beautifully maintained and provided a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. As a senior woman, I was pleased to find that the hotel was easily accessible, with no stairs to worry about and everything conveniently located on one level.

I would have preferred if the children working there were a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests.

I had a fantastic stay at Hazelwood House! The location was perfect, right next to the famous G-spot mountainbike spot. The apartment was fully equipped and had a lovely South African style. The quiet neighborhood made for a peaceful stay. The highlight for me was the beautiful garden, complete with a refreshing swimming pool and plenty of barbecue and chill-out opportunities. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this location for couples or families looking for a relaxing getaway. Perfect for exploring the wineries or simply taking it easy.

Spent Xmas here and had a blast! Loved being close to the famous mountainbike spot and only a short drive to the city center. The apartment had everything we needed and was decorated in a cool South African style. The neighborhood was quiet and the garden with the pool was so relaxing. We enjoyed barbecuing and chilling out there. The hosts were super friendly and helped us plan our day trips. Felt like home and would recommend it to couples and families!

Only downside was the smell of damp in the room. Not good for your health and just unpleasant.
